MOBIFINANCE NBFI LLC Governance structure

A shareholders’ meeting directs the activities of the organization at the level of strategic policy, protects the interests of shareholders, evaluates the overall activities of the organization, and monitors the efficient use of capital. The chief executive officer of Mobicom Corporation exercises the rights of shareholders’ meetings.

The Chief executive officer is responsible for developing long-term and short-term plans for the organization, managing and monitoring overall operations within the framework of the strategic goals provided by the shareholders’ meeting.

Brief introduction

The Mobifinance NBFI LLC was founded in April 2010 within the scope of initiations and the project of Mobicom Corporation to introduce the electronic payments and and financial services based on the mobile phones in Mongolia. The Mobifinance NBFI has been successfully introducing to market and implementing the online micro loan “SMS Loan” service within the scope of the special permission “To undertake the loan activity” issued by the Financial Regulatory Commission and the Electronic money “MonPay” service within the scope of the special permission “To issue the electronic money” issued by the Mongolbank. The MonPay service shall make the cash transfers, get the micro loans and make the payments and transactions within a second. Notwithstanding that, this service differs from other financial services by its peculiarity that it contains a number of services such as online shops, train and movie tickets, food deliveries, game charging, coupon and rewards or bonuses at one place.

The ISO 9001:2015 system requires an organization to pay attention not only to internal organization, but also to customer cooperation, so it opens up opportunities to deliver comprehensive products and services that meet customer demand.

  • ISO 27001 International Information Security Management System Standard

We are working to prevent information security risks that may occur in the processing and storage of valuable confidential information of users and partner organizations, and meet more than 160 standard requirements in our operations. The requirements of this standard were met again in September 2022 and we obtained the certificate.

  • ISO 45001 standard for occupational health and safety management systems

We follow all 174 laws and legal norms related to labor health and safety in force in Mongolia and work in accordance with our activities.

Social responsibility

Along with the social responsibility activities carried out by Mobicom Group, Mobifinance NBFI LLC organizes specific projects and activities through our Monpay application in the field of child protection and other social fields. Some of the social activities and projects currently being implemented include:

 

  • “Id shidiin oron” project – The project aims to protect children with a low standard of living who are victims of violence and are at high risk of violence and need urgent assistance, support, and protection. It intends to solve their complex problems such as education, upbringing, and health since 2016.
  • “Eye see” project – The project has been implemented since 2013, and its main goal is to diagnose vision problems in young children at an early stage and prevent it. During this project, 5,655 primary school students were examined, and 655 children were provided with appropriate glasses for their vision.
  • “As one” project – It started in 2020 by the initiative of JCI organization, and the main goal of the project is to learn to positively accept the unique situation of children and young people with Autism, to help and support them, not to discriminate, and to develop a humane attitude to the public.
  • “Child helpline 108” project – It helps to report child abuse, domestic violence, and peer pressure, making an important move towards creating a comprehensive child protection system.
  • “Save angels project” – Through the project, the National Center for Maternal and Child Health and Amgalan Maternity Hospitals were given post-surgery rehabilitation equipment. As a result of the project, infant mortality decreased from 19.1% to 5.6%.
  • Khiimori check campaign – The customers can scan the promotional QR code with the Monpay app and pay “Two MNT” to check their luck and win an iPad Pro, Airpod, Samsung, Huawei mobile phone, smart headphones, as well as money and coupons in their MonPay account. The project aims to multiply the total amount of two MNT paid by the user by 22 times and donate it to the “Id shidiin oron- Dundgov” project.
  • Donation menu – We have solved the problems of financially struggling organizations and customers by providing a variety of fundraising opportunities through the Monpay app.

In the future, Mobifinance NBFI is ready to cooperate with social responsibility projects and programs by providing the opportunity to use our payment solutions for free.
